journey times（旅游时间）为何要用复数

Journey times will be very much reduced by the new road.

走这条新路，旅游的时间会缩短不少。

这里的 time 是表示时间吧，为何要用复数呢？

当time表示某事件发生的时间时，可以是可数名词，也可以是不可数名词。比如《牛津词典》对time的解释之一与该解释下的例句之1、

[uncountable,countable]the time when something happens or when something should happen

例句：A computer screen shows arrival and departure times.

本句journey times表示不同交通工具（卡车、大巴、小轿车等）走这条新路所需的不同旅游时间，故用复数。用不可数名词也可以。
